Espresso Public Relations LLC was founded in 2017 by Jake Serwer, a Detroit-based public relations executive and former Washington, D.C. television producer. He launched Espresso to help brands build an identity by securing impactful news stories for them.
Jake’s journey began in the fast-paced realm of television production in Washington, D.C. At Bloomberg Television, he produced exclusive interviews with members of the United States Senate, White House and Treasury Department. He also co-produced the network's coverage of the 2011 National Football League Player lockout.
Later, as a producer for legendary TV news journalist Chris Wallace, Jake secured special guest interviews, like Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank, and traveled the country with Wallace to assist in the coverage of live televised presidential debates.
And as the business development executive at the world-renowned National Press Club, Jake organized messaging and events for Fortune 500 CEOs, political leaders and celebrities.
Jake earned his master’s degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan. Jake resides in Bloomfield Township with his wife Stephanie, daughter Madeline and goldendoodle Magglio.
